I am sorry to hear United Healthcare CEO was murdered. I like United Healthcare, I remember they assigned me someone that I could talk to with any problems I had when I lived in PA. I liked the guy. I was wondering if my drone design project and simulation could have helped stop the murder. I asked openai about it, and got totally wrong answers. Before when I asked about myself it mentioned projects I’m working on like this one. Despite this, I could design a level in a city with lots of people in my unreal engine game. Do you know anyone who would want to help me? Let me know. I can teach you stuff.

Again, sorry to hear about this gun death. Eventually gun deaths should become zero on planet earth. That man’s whole life was ahead of him and now he can’t experience any of it. Really f’ing sad.

I added a second type of gun, a handgun instead of rifle, and exported a new animation of the gun holder walking with a handgun vs rifle from mixamo. The orientation on import into unreal was different with the 2 models from mixamo, but instead of modifying it in code, I rotated on the import so the two types of walking models matched orientations.

I also recently designed a 3d printed pot for plants that says ‘I Love Dogs’. I did it by using Claude to create OpenSCAD code. I think designing the drone could be done in AI/Claude/OpenSCAD once the requirements for the different components are worked out. It could use the open source commercially viable design I linked earlier as a starting point.

I stopped using Unity cause the project file was a binary gig+ file, and switched to Unreal. This article is another reason not to use Unity. I wonder if there are any stories like this for Unreal Engine?

After upgrading to 5.5, when playing the game I would see HLOD are out of date rebuild them. So I selected that option, but when I do Unreal Engine crashes. I send the crash report to them. I hope they fix the problem. I am going to revert back to 5.4.

Update: I was able to search for that file that was corrupted or whatever, and delete it from the level. Now HLOD is able to build.
