I opened a birds fbx file from fab (the new unreal engine marketplace), and it played the animation and I could see the textures. Working on my game again during my favorite time of day… after midnight. I added the ability to shoot a taser. I have work to do later. Making the character randomly drop the gun after tased, better animation vs the red debug there now, have the character fall on ground.. then more stuff to come.
Pretty excited about manicode.ai It was able to add a small feature to my Unreal Engine project C++ code; Also added a unit test to Kotlin Android app. It saves the files for you, from cmd line. For Kotlin, it built the project.
I can’t view fbx animation files from mixamo on Windows. They open in Unreal Engine but Autodesk viewer doesn’t work. Same with usd files. They have a 30 day free trial. Even though Cody has your source, you cant copy snippets of code, only the whole thing, and subpar answers. I stopped using Cody after trying for awhile and switched to OpenAI latest paid version and I got the crosshairs I’ve been working on in all C++ working.
